As the name suggests, Short Films are films of short duration. They are shorter than documentary but longer than ad film. The production costs of these films are generally lower than the feature films. These films can be fiction or non-fiction. That is, the story can be either fantasy or factual in nature. Initially, short films use to depend on film festivals for the release but platforms like Youtube and Vimeo have provided a more convenient option for the makers to release their short films for the public.
